At iOtee, the protection of personal data of our customers, users and partners is a key element. We are therefore committed to respecting the law n° 78-17 of 6 January 1978 on data processing, files and freedoms, as amended by the European Regulation 2016/679 of 27 April 2016 on the protection of personal data.
In order to provide you with the most transparent and comprehensive information possible about our use of your personal data, we have developed this data protection policy.

iOtee, société par actions simplifiée, registered at RCS, n°842 581 332, located at 6 rue des Roquemonts 14000 CAEN, is responsible for the processing of personal data of customers and users of the www.mozae-monitoring.fr website (the “Site”).
IOTEE provides its subscribers with a digital solution for controlling their cattle, or sheep/goat, available on various media (computer, smartphone, tablet). The IOTEE offer manages the identification, reproduction, health, milk and meat performance of the subscribers’ herds.
We are required to collect and process your personal data for the purpose of fulfilling our contractual obligations when you subscribe to our service or create an account with IOTEE. It is also in our legitimate interest to collect your data in order to answer your questions and requests regarding our services and ensure the proper functioning of our Site, measure its traffic and know the relevance of its content and its attractiveness.
What is personal data?
Personal data is information that allows you to be identified, either directly or indirectly. This may include your name, first name, telephone number, mailing address or email address.
What are our personal data practices?
We collect your personal data in a fair, lawful and transparent manner. Your personal data, thus collected, is proportionate to the purposes of our processing. They allow us to provide you with a tailor-made service so that you can manage your farm remotely and manage your subscription.
We also ensure the protection of your personal data by implementing strict security measures, in accordance with the applicable regulations on this matter.
Why do we collect your personal data?
We collect and process different categories of personal data in order to ensure the best possible management of our service as well as contractual and commercial relationships with our users and partners.
The processing of your personal data is for the following purposes:
- The creation of a MOZAE account;
- Subscription to a MOZAE subscription;
the activation of all the features included in the Subscribed Offer;
processing your requests; - Customer follow-up;
- the management and proper functioning of the site pilotelevage.fr and the realization of audience measures
- Management of invoices, accounting.
Who can access your personal data?
Your personal data is transmitted within our services to the only persons authorised by their functions to process it. Your data is also transmitted to our partners and subcontractors such as the Hubixeo platform allowing the use and management of the Flore service, Adventiel for hosting our data and Odoo for billing management. If you wish to subscribe to certain options offered by the MOZAE service, your data may also be transferred to some of our providers involved in providing the additional services that you have subscribed to.
We also take care to ensure that all our service providers and subcontractors have in place appropriate security and confidentiality measures to guarantee the protection of your personal data.
Apart from these cases, IOTEE will not share your personal data with third parties unless required by law.
What categories of personal data do we collect?
In order to meet the purposes of the aforementioned processing, we collect:
- your name and surname;
- your mailing address;
- your email address;
- your phone number.
Your personal data will not be used for purposes other than those necessary to provide the MOZAE web and mobile services, in accordance with the aforementioned purposes. IOTEE will not use your data for other purposes without first informing you and, if necessary, requesting your consent.
How long are your personal data kept?
In accordance with the regulations on the protection of personal data, we keep your personal data for the time necessary to achieve the purposes for which they are collected.
The retention periods of your data are specified below, by purpose of processing. At the end of these periods, we delete or anonymize your data.
o The subscriber account data
The data collected from the creation of your subscriber account are kept until the deletion of said account. However, in the event that we find that your account has been inactive for 2 years, we may delete it after having previously informed you and unless you object.
Thus, the maximum retention period of your data in our records relating to the management of our commercial relationships is equal to the duration of our relationship.
o Subscription to an IOTEE subscription, activation of all the included features and customer tracking
The data collected for the purposes of the aforementioned purposes is kept for the duration of our contractual relationship.
o Data relating to your contact requests
We keep the data processed in order to respond to your contact request for three years from our last contact.
At the end of this period, these data will be kept in the form of intermediate archiving to prevent any possible litigation for a limited duration to the prescribed periods set in civil and commercial matters.
o The management and proper functioning of the Site and the performance of audience measures
The data from cookies used on the Site to ensure the proper functioning of the latter and to carry out audience measurements are kept for a period not exceeding 25 months.
o Management of invoices, accounting.
The data collected for the purposes of the aforementioned purposes are kept for the duration in accordance with legal obligations or the time limits provided by law.
Beyond these periods, we may keep your data in the form of interim storage to establish proof of a right or contract, or to ensure compliance with a legal obligation. Archiving will be carried out in accordance with the CNIL’s recommendations: archived data will be subject to a separate selection and storage of the active database, limited in time, in particular according to the provisions of the Civil Code and the Commercial Code.
Are your data transferred outside the EU?
In principle, all your personal data is processed and stored within the territory of the European Union.
However, in the context of billing management, your data is transmitted to our service provider Odoo which may need to perform backups of your personal data on its servers located in Canada. However, since the country receiving these data is recognised by the European Union as being suitable for transfers carried out in the context of commercial activities, this transfer does not require the introduction of additional specific framework measures. We assure you in any case that we pay particular attention to the security of your personal data and to the fact that each transfer of your data, within or outside the European Union, enjoys a sufficient and appropriate level of protection.
What rights do you have with regard to your personal data?
In accordance with the applicable regulations, you have the rights of access, rectification and erasure of your personal data. You may also exercise your right to portability in order to obtain your personal data in a structured, usable and machine-readable format so that it can be transmitted to a third party if your request is eligible.
You also have the right to request the limitation of the processing of your personal data and the right to oppose their processing due to circumstances specific to your personal situation.
You also have the right to define general or specific guidelines regarding the post-mortem fate of your personal data. The specific directives can be registered with our internal data protection referent. The general guidelines may be registered with a trusted third party digital certified by the CNIL. You have the option to change or delete these guidelines at any time.
